good news for all you birdseed
by A Paduan injust wanted to leave you all with a happy thought of good news.
though you may have at one time been picked by birds when you were just beside the way, remember that the birds leave droppings - with seeds in them.
they've dropped you off, because they couldn't digest you - this time with what they waste - the fertilizer.

"It wasn't us" - because there is n...
by A Paduan in[brown] the absence of "we" in wt literature is elusiveness in the nature of snakes.
it must have been the zealous brothers (not us)
the false prophecies must have been those 'other' brothers (not us)

The graven image
by A Paduan inunlike the wt would have you believe, "perfect" is not the same as "fine" (another one for my jw-english dictionary).
the graven image is the one that is made and moulded to be "fine" (finished) - and it's serious and hard - but it's dead.
to love it's an abomination, as love is living, tentative ('tent living'), growing and moving - the very meaning of life.

Adding death to death
by A Paduan init has occurred to me that jws may suffer something like second death and that's part of the aversion to the whole religion - that you can't revive them.
whereas people can accept that others fail at social obligation (sin), it is in some way understood and forgiven.
however, when the perpetrators deny it all (unless caught), the whole thing takes on a 'new light'.

What is a christian
by A Paduan inin light of a recent thread by ozzie showing the wt reaffirming salvation by works, i wanted to put forward a post questioning what a christian is.
my own belief is that christianity is about kindness that marginalises the fears surrounding any self-cost (any, even spiritual - i believe that's a secret truth).
the belief in salvation by works is the belief in a trade - a buying and selling.

Born into it
by A Paduan in.
do those of you who were born into it feel that your parents did what they believed in their hearts was love for their children, or do you think they warrant a serious kick in the backside?.

temptation in the wilderness
by A Paduan in.
pamy was baptised, but since then she had not eaten spiritual food - now older she was getting quite hungry.
then she was approached and shown all the splendour of the earth and told, "all this could be yours" - if only she would agree to revere and serve.. well, we can't all be switched on as christ.. paduan

have you "taken" a life
by A Paduan ini'm posting this again, for the jws - and i say - how dare you require the life of others.
pharisees thought old testament laws about eating were meant for their flesh - the wtbts does the very same.
the eating laws were spiritual teaching (not a word of the law has passed away) but the unspiritual pharisee did not understand - we still should not eat swine ( be like someone who feeds then goes and whines without having "chewed the cud), or eat the birds of prey (take advantage of those not as fortunate), or eat fish without fins and scales (and be like those at the bottom of the 'sea') - everyone is familiar with this - swallowing a camel and giving to dogs.

eating blood - made easy
by A Paduan ini've posted this stuff before, but here it is again.
the pharisees understood old testament laws on eating certain animals as applying to their flesh - hence the saying, "their god is their belly".
the eating laws were for spiritual teaching (and not a word of the law has passed away).

re: hearing with your ears and not the heart
by A Paduan ini have posted a thread that plainly refutes the blood prohibition of jwism - yet no one even posted a comment.
does anyone even read the bible with spiritual ears - or is it a history book of facts to be sifted through for 'a sign' ?
briefly, the "eating laws" in the old testament are a spiritual teaching on behaviouraside from ancient sources, this is plainly evident in jesus' own wordsit is necessary that we "eat jesus' blood" to have lifeso where do we find his blood now?
